Aaron Anton, Engineer & Project Manager

Aaron has been working with the firm since 2019 as a design technician and construction oversight manager. He obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida in 2024, and is studying for his Master’s in Coastal Engineering at Oregon State University. He has also had experience with the Federal Highway Administration as a construction oversite engineering technician and in coastal structural engineering and rehabilitation. Aaron is a natural leader, and you will be served very well with him as your project manager.

Timothy (TJ) Hudson, Engineer

TJ is the most recent addition to our firm in the spring of 2024. He obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida is 2024, and will be pursuing a Master’s in Structural Engineering. He has also had experience with the FDOT as a construction oversite and engineering technician. TJ is an intelligent and creative thinker, and he is an instrumental part in ensuring the success of our projects.

Elaine Kymla, Permit Specialist & Office Manager

One of the most important aspects of any coastal project is the permitting process. A design can be as structurally sound as any, but if it can’t be permitted it can’t be built. This is where Elaine comes in, who is an expert in permitting projects in a wide range of jurisdictions throughout Florida. Elaine ensures all of our projects are designed and built in compliance with all FDEP, Water Management District, and Army Corps guidelines. Elaine is also our office manager, and does a fantastic job of ensuring all of our projects are on track and that we’re working as efficiently as possible to develop the optimal project for every one of our clients.

John Anton, Construction Inspection Specialist

John has been a member of our firm as a construction inspection specialist since 2020. John has over 40 years of construction experience, having worked on a variety of major projects in the Northeast Ohio area, and has seen just about all there is to see on site in this industry. John upholds the highest standard of quality control, and he will be present in the field to ensure that all of our projects are built to exacting specifications and that you’re getting the design you paid for installed properly.

P.E. stands for Professional Engineer. It’s a designation that indicates that someone has met a series of stringent requirements and is qualified to protect the public’s health, safety, and welfare through their professional expertise.

Seawall, Revetment, and Shoreline Stabilization – We provide engineering analysis of every project we do from the seemingly most regular residential rear lot to massive marina projects. We have signature projects from Ft. Lauderdale to Daytona and into the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos. We have built our reputation and experience on a myriad of residential projects, assuring homeowners wall construction based on actual site data and proven construction methodologies.

Over the past 20 years, we have designed and overseen the construction of an estimated 5 miles of seawall (650+ projects) at residential sites. We have also designed, consulted, repaired, and value-engineered over dozen commercial projects representing millions of dollars in seawall construction value. We are the trusted commodity. In that time, not one of our projects have been subject to failure.

Residential walls — Our business is Marine Engineering

The principals involved in most projects are not new, but they are nuanced. We take special care to get the proper information and utilize proven engineering techniques and state-of-the-art software.

Unfortunately, we come across many seawalls we need to rebuild because inexperienced designers and non-engineers are out obtaining permits and providing drawings produced without the benefit of these principles and techniques.

Docks and Boatlifts – We have provided engineering and permitting services on over 250 docks throughout Florida. From simple backyard piers to complex floating dock marinas.
